An intensive fortnight covering the prosthetics process of sculpting, moulding and applying silicone pieces
Where make-up & hair careers begin.
The Delamar Academy Prosthetics & Bald Caps course is an essential starting point for beginners who want to work in the Prosthetics industry or add to their makeup skillset.
Learn it all.
This 2 week course is for people who wish to learn how to make and apply prosthetic pieces. Taught by some of the best Prosthetics Artists in the industry, students learn the process of designing, sculpting, moulding, applying and painting silicone pieces for a character look.
Prosthetics makeup has the ability to dramatically age a person or create an entirely different character. This paired with the sought-after skill of applying and painting a bald cap, is highly employable in the film and TV industry. If you are a Makeup Artist lacking these skills or someone trying out a new area of makeup, Prosthetics & Bald Caps might be the best 2 weeks for you.
The course fee covers all materials and products. Students just need to bring a notepad and pen on their first day. Our custom fitted Prosthetics Workshop is where the course is taught, fully equipped with all the tools needed. Students receive a lot of health and safety guidance throughout this course.
