Period Wigs Course
An intensive week of authentic period wig styling from the 1920s onwards
Where make-up & hair careers begin.
The Delamar Academy Period Wigs course is the perfect starting place for people with little to no wig experience and a desire to work in the theatre, TV or film industry.
Learn it all.
Curated by our “Grande Dame” Wendy Topping, this course is a wig lover's dream. Essential for theatre, film and TV wig work, students work with real hair lace front wigs.
The one week course takes you through blocking, setting, dressing and washing wigs. On this course you will learn about specific period styles of both the glamorous and less glamorous ladies from the 1920s onwards. Students learn how to create ringlets, spirals, pin curls, finger waves, victory rolls and many more key techniques.
