Learn it all.
Barbering course covers all the basic principles and techniques of barbering.
This course covers sectioning, scissor over comb techniques, clippering, blowdrying, cross checking, texturizing, blending and styling. Ask any top make-up artist working in the industry today, these skills are invaluable for any make-up artist pursuing a career in TV and film. We have updated the course to include some military and period styles, essential for many make-up artists working in film.
Please note that the course fee includes use of the scissors, gown, and comb included in our complete kit.

The building blocks of industry employability
The Barbering Course
No previous experience is necessary to enrol on this course.
The course provides an intensive training in barbering short hair styles.
A full-time course for a fulfilling career
Classes run 10:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, in the Academy
All equipment, materials and tools are included in the course fee. Students do not need to bring anything other than a notepad and pen.
Classes sizes are small - no more than 12 students per class to create a strong tutor to student ratio
Termly tutorials with a tutor and Academy Principal are held with each student to provide support, advice and learn about each individual student’s goals
We a hold guest masterclasses and industry talks throughout the year featuring top industry experts and artists. You can read all about these here

Tuition is practical and hands-on, with a tutor demo in the morning, followed by practical sessions for the rest of the day, in which students learn how to handle specialist equipment, tools and materials
We place emphasis on individual and group creativity, and all subjects are underpinned by theory, research, and visual references
