A year in overview: The 20 best Delamar graduate jobs over 2016

2016 was a bittersweet year at Delamar Academy – it was very sad for us with the passing of our wonderful founder, Penny Delamar.  Penny’s legacy has lived on through our graduates, many of their careers have exploded in rambunctious style, across a smorgasbord of incredible film, television, theatre and fashion productions. As a make-up school we go beyond the teaching by providing some remarkable opportunities for our new graduates, whilst keeping in touch with our highly established alumni.  Contacts are everything!  These jobs are testimony to the desirability of Delamar graduates.  This sparkling list will certainly provide inspiration for anyone considering a course at Delamar:

  • Cecila Herlin and Amanda Warburton worked in Spain filming the latest ‘Game of Thrones’ series.
  • Year HE Cert graduate Fiona Neal assisted top make-up artist, Caroline Barnes, on Max Factor’s latest ad campaign starring Rochelle Humes.
  • We provided 2 assistants for X-factor’s Halloween special! Delamar graduates Shiv Ashman and Bella Costanzo both rose to the challenge.
  • 1 Year Cert HE 2016 graduates, Anita Gerecs, Kitty Noofa and Ellie Watkins, had their fashion make-up featured in Vogue online.
  • Alexa Riva continues to work as an incredible volunteer and spokes person for the charity ‘Look Good Feel Better’. In October her make-up tutorial demonstrating how to help women combat the side effects of cancer had been viewed over 35,000 times after being live streamed on Huffington Post UK Style.
  • We were thrilled to get Zyna Goldy her position as make-up trainee on last year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on BBC!

  • Kitty Noofa took on London Fashion week, completing 4 shows in 2 days!
