Prosthetics and Bald Caps
Based in our custom designed and state of the art workshop, our special short make-up course for Prosthetics and Bald Caps not only teaches you the basic skills of designing, making, and applying silicone pieces, but also covers prosthetics theory and safe working practices.
What you will learn
You will learn how to apply a vinyl bald cap, as well as designing, making, and applying silicone pieces.
Students have free reign to design their own silicone character faces, the only rule – it must be skin toned and must be aged. Creating believable skin effects, tones and textures on silicone prosthetic pieces is an essential skill to have, once you have the basics you can achieve more in our Advanced Prosthetics course.
The 2 week course also teaches you the theory of prosthetics and working procedures, health and safety practices, mould making, sculpting, silicone runs, preparing moulds, and the application of silicone pieces with make-up to achieve a finished look.
The course fee includes use of the brush set and products from our complete kit.
