Delamar Graduate Namrata Soni is awarded as Vogue Make-up Artist Industry Hero

Namrata Soni graduated from our 12 week Complete Make-up Artist course over 15 years ago. Since graduating, Namrata has gone on to work on many Bollywood films, winning an Indian Academy Award, Vogue Make-up Artist Of The Year, and many A list clients. As an ambassador for brands including Bobbi Brown and L’Oreal, Namrata is an influential talent, with respect from many corners of the make-up industry in India from fashion to Bollywood. Her works have featured in the world’s top publications including: Vogue, L’Officiel, Elle, Harpers Bazar, Wallpaper magazine, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Femina.  Namrata has also worked on various feature films including: Om Shanti Om, Kabhi Alvidha Aa Kehna, Musafir, Main Hoon Na, Janemaan, Emi, Salaam Namaste, Aisha, I Hate Love Stories …

 

Namrata has received the prestigious International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) award for her ageing make-up design for the award winning film, Om Shanti Om. She has also been nominated for the best makeup artist at the IIFA for her work in Aisha and I Hate Love Stories . As the top make-up artist in India, Namrata is a highly sought after by A-List Indian celebrities such as Shahrukh Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone , Sonakshi Sinha, Malaika Arora Khan, Preity Zinta, Tabu, Salman Khan, Arjun Rampal, Asin, Shruti Hassan and more.
